GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING SUBMISSIONS

Regular and Special Session Submissions

The conference seeks original submissions which were not published yet elsewhere. In order for a paper to be accepted, and subsequently included in the IEEE eXplore paper base, they need to meet certain requirements.

The papers are expected to report on novel developments, not published yet elsewhere, with a prospect for a tangible impact on the research area and, hopefully, a potential for practical implementations.

The need for the work done has to be established: why important, and who is going to benefit from it. It is important that the work is put in the framework of the works published by others, if relevant - outlining the differences, novelty, and arising benefits.

The clarity of the material presentation is very important for others to understand and appreciate the presented developments and results.

Submissions lacking proper validation of the results will not be accepted.

The submission page limit, may pose problems for authors reporting on a substantial body of works/results. Authors are encouraged to post that material on their personal pages and provide a link. That should include details of the validation methods/procedures, statistical assessment of the results, etc - anything which would allow to establish validity of the presented results, even to the point of the replication the "experiments".

Work-in-Progress and Industry Practice Submissions

Work-in-Progress papers describe research that has not yet produced results required for a regular paper, but due to novelty and potential impact deserves to be shared with the community at an early stage. Accepted WIP papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

Contributors will asked to give a short presentation of their work.

The work in progress submissions need to follow the guidelines for the regular and special session submissions. The main difference is the presented work and arising results are initial/preliminary.

Submissions presenting ideas only, without supporting results, will not be accepted.

PLAGIARISM AND INFRINGEMENTS

Accepted papers are going to be included in the IEEE eXplore data base. That mandates the authors prepare their submissions observing the IEEE policies with respect to plagiarism, including self-plagiarism.

For details, please see IEEE plagiarism policies:

Please note that all papers submitted are going to be checked for plagiarism using IEEE automatic tools.

Papers which fail the check will NOT be considered for acceptance, and reported to IEEE Intellectual Property Rights office.

COMPLETING COPYRIGHT FORM

IEEE policy requires that prior to publication all authors or their employers must transfer to the IEEE in writing any copyright they hold for their individual papers.

Authors of accepted papers will receive soon an email from IEEE with link and login credentials to login to eCF and submit copyright forms for their papers.
